State polls: Pakatan's Ng Suee Lim successfully defends Sekinchan

PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan's Ng Suee Lim said he is glad that he was able to stave off the "green wave" in Sekinchan, Selangor.

He won the seat for the fifth term, this time with a majority of 4,018 votes against Perikatan Nasional's Goh Gaik Meng.

He said that both Malays and non-Malays voters continued to place trust in him after serving for four terms.

An elated Ng was spotted doing a virtual interview shortly after arriving at the Wyndham Acmar Hotel where Pakatan candidates and supporters are gathering for the polls announcement later on Saturday (Aug 12) night.
