Pahang MB denies he disagreed with appointment of Negri MB

KUANTAN: Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has vehemently denied that he disputed the appointment of the Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar from PKR.

Wan Rosdy said a statement in a poster that had been circulating on social media was falsely attributed to him.

"This is an irresponsible act by certain parties in an attempt to sever the cooperation between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan and to tarnish my image as Pahang Mentri Besar and Umno vice-president," he said in a statement on Monday (Aug 14).

Wan Rosdy also said the coalition of Barisan and Pakatan in Pahang was still going strong in governing the state.

"Enough of the 24-hour politics and stop spreading hateful slander that can destroy our harmony and unity," he added.

Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun was sworn in as the Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar on Monday (Aug 14) after the Pakatan and Barisan coalition won in the state election.
