IPOH: An Orang Asli woman was trampled to death by an elephant at a durian farm in Kampung Bal in RPS Kemar, Gerik.

Gerik OCPD Supt Zulkifli Mahmood said the 63-year-old woman had gone to the farm to pick some durians before the incident occurred on Sunday between 4pm and 5pm.

“We received a report of the incident at about 5.30pm.

“She was brought to the RPS Kemar health clinic where she was pronounced dead,” he said in a statement yesterday.
