Domestic trade ministry to improve Price Catcher mobile app to boost public use

JOHOR BARU: The Domestic and Cost of Living Ministry will look into ways to further improve the Price Catcher mobile app, says Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.

The acting Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister said that despite the many benefits of the application, it was still underused by the public.

"We will have a series of engagements with our stakeholders, consumer associations and industries to look into ways they could assist us in improving the application.

"We hope that this will allow the application to be used more widely as there is much information and features that are beneficial to the public.

"The application is also part of the Ministry's initiative to assist the public in dealing with the rising cost of living," he said.

He said this to reporters after attending the Sara Hidup Outreach programme at a hotel here in Johor Baru on Sunday (Aug 20).

Armizan said that the mobile application currently has 293,499 users and about 2,000 daily visitors.
