Two killed, one injured in Ipoh car crash


IPOH: Two people were killed and another seriously injured after the car they were in lost control and crashed into an electric post at Jalan Kuala Kangsar at about 2.15am on Sunday (Aug 20).

Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations centre officer-in-charge Saiful Rizan Sulaiman said the two deceased were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.

"When the firemen arrived at the location at about 2.25am, we found three men trapped in the wreckage. The injured victim was sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospita by an ambulance," he said in a statement.

"All the victims are in their 30s," he added, saying that the operation ended at 4.30am.
