Ahmad Zahid stops to help accident victim in KL


KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stopped his entourage to help a motorcyclist who was involved in an accident here.

According to Ahmad Zahid, the accident involving a motorcycle and a car happened near Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim.

“We rushed to help Satnam and I made sure that his treatment and medical affairs could be expedited. I pray for Satnam’s fast recovery,” said Ahmad Zahid in a Facebook post on Monday (Aug 21).

Ahmad Zahid had earlier launched a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new MIC headquarters on Jalan Rahmat.

The RM250mil new building will have two towers with facilities such as a hotel, serviced apartments, a conference hall and business premises.
