BEING born with a cleft lip has not dented the dreams or confidence of student Nur Shamsinar Saiful, who has even started her own account on TikTok.
Harian Metro reported that the 18-year-old Kuala Kangsar Vocational College diploma student attributes her confidence to the support system around her.
“I don’t care what people say, nor am I ashamed of myself. I am the only one among my siblings with this condition,” said Nur Shamsinar, who is currently pursuing a diploma in Early Childhood Education.
She also paid tribute to her family and friends who constantly supported her.
“I’ve never been insulted or bullied for my appearance, with only some teasing here and there,” she said.
On her TikTok posts, Nur Shamsinar said she began her account just for fun but was grateful to have received many positive comments.
“I was touched. I’m just trying to be myself in the videos,” she added.

“If I have to play a bad character, I’m fine. But to shave my head, I’ll have to think long and hard before making a decision,” said the 25-year-old, whose full name is Muhammad Nabil Aqil Muhammad Salehuddin.
Nabil, however, said he was not against parting with his hair if the production required it.

Inca’s face was revealed in a music video of the acoustic rendition of his song Sedih Hati.
