New Selangor exco allocated portfolios, says MB


SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari’s 10-member executive council team were allocated their respective portfolios on Wednesday (Aug 23).

Amirudin had said on Tuesday (Aug 22) that the portfolios had to be readjusted to be in tandem with the Federal Cabinet portfolios.

He added that the adjustments were needed as there are new Cabinet-level portfolios addressing issues such as cost of living and climate change, among others.

There are four representatives from DAP, three from PKR, two from Amanah and one from Barisan Nasional in the current exco line-up.

The portfolios assigned to the current line-up are as follows:

Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari (PKR)

  1. Land Development and Natural Resources,
  2. Finance and Economy
  3. Modernising & Digitalising Government
  4. Strategic Communications,
  5. Education & Human Capital Development.

Ng Sze Han (DAP)

  1. Investment and Trade
  2. Small and Medium Enterprises Development and New Economic Districts
  3. Selangor Mobility
  4. Co-Chairman of the Special Committee of Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Sikh and Tao Religions in Selangor (Limas)

Izham Hashim (Amanah)

  1. Infrastructure Development
  2. Modernisation of Agriculture and Farming

Borhan Aman Shah (PKR)

  1. Housing and Development of Sustainable Cities
  2. Culture, Heritage and Malay Customs

Ng Suee Lim (DAP)

  1. Local Government Development
  2. Tourism
  3. Development of New Villages
  4. Co-Chairman of the Special Committee of Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Sikh and Tao Religions in Selangor

Datuk Rizam Ismail (Umno)

  1. Rural and Village Development
