Home Ministry to use input from stakeholders in drafting Budget initiatives

PUTRAJAYA: The Home Ministry will use the input and suggestions presented during its Budget 2024 engagement session with stakeholders today as a guide for drafting budget initiatives in the security sector.

It said in a statement on Thursday (Aug 24) that the feedback obtained from the engagement session which was attended by stakeholders including departments, agencies, organisations and associations under its supervision was to better understand the people's expectations of the government in line with the tabling of Budget 2024 in October.

"The ministry remains in line with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani which is inspired by the concept of willingness to accept change, taking into account the suggestions of all levels of society to recover through substantive reforms, for the sake of a more advanced and prosperous Malaysia," it said. - Bernama
