Cops appeal for witnesses of Federal Highway accident


PETALING JAYA: Police are urging witnesses to a fatal accident on Federal Highway here to help in their investigations.

In a statement on Friday (Aug 25), Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the accident occurred at KM32 of the highway near Naza Auto Mall at 8.42am.

"Preliminary investigations showed that a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the railing on the left side of the road," he said, adding the victim, a 26-year-old hotel barista, died at the scene.

Witnesses were urged to contact traffic investigating officer Insp Mohd Hafeez Faesal A Aziz at 011-3231 1232 or any police stations to assist investigations.
