PUTRAJAYA: The presence three children dressed in full security forces uniform caught the attention of the spectators and adds to the colourful celebration of National Day 2023 here, on Thursday (Aug 31).

According to Mohamad Nor Hafiz Mohd Yusof, 35, the patriotic garb put on by his daughter Dhiya Aisyah Sofea and two cousins was the centre of attraction as many people wanted to take pictures with them.

"It is worth spending RM300 for their uniforms because some people value them and this is a National Day memory for my daughter and her cousins," he told Bernama.

Mohamad Nor Hafiz said the National Day celebration this time was very impressive as it displayed mesmerizing performances such as the air show involving various defence assets and the precise dive by members of Vat 69 Commando of the Royal Malaysia Police.

"My daughter was really excited to join this celebration and we were at Dataran Putrajaya since 3 am because we wanted to be at a strategic location.

"We want to see the whole performance and parade on today's celebration and it's a first for us, and we were dazzled," said Mohamad Nor Hafiz who lives in Putra Perdana, Puchong.

Dhiya Aisyah Sofea said she was happy to see the parade of soldiers and tanks on National Day this time.
