Anwar has audience with Johor Sultan to kick off working visit to the state


JOHOR BARU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim started his one-day working visit to the state with an hour-long audience with Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim also joined in the meeting which took place at Istana Bukit Pelangi.

Soon after the meeting, Anwar went on a short tour of Hospital Sultanah Aminah to find out about issues, mainly with regards to parking.

Anwar will also be given a rousing welcome during a dialogue session with UTM students.

He is expected to attend several ceramah in Pulai and Simpang Jeram.
