'MCA will prevail so long we stay united', says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: MCA will weather through storms and overcome any obstacles as long as it remains united, says its president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Dr Wee said this in a post on his Facebook on Monday (Sept 4) after an interaction session held with division leaders in Labis in Johor.

During the meeting, he shared the latest political developments and current affairs.

He went on to explain the party’s decision to not contest in the recently concluded state elections as well as its aspirations and preparations for the future.

"Despite the challenges ahead of us, I am confident we can overcome the difficulties and obstacles before us if we continue to stay united.

"I would like to thank our comrades from Labis for their full support," he said.

Dr Wee thanked Labis Division Chairman Datuk Chua Tee Yong for organising the event.

Also present at the session were Labis Division Deputy Chairman and Bekok state assemblyman Tan Chong and Johor MCA Secretary Datuk Ng Keng Heng.
