Police arrive at PAS headquarters to record Hadi's statement


KUALA LUMPUR:An officer from Bukit Aman has arrived at the PAS headquarters here to take Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang’s statement

The meeting was originally scheduled to be at 9.30am, but was pushed to 11.30am with the police officers arriving here at about 11.15am.

PAS’ Bachok MP and Abdul Hadi’s political secretary Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman, when met at the party headquarters here, said that a press conference will be held after the statement recording.

The probe is related to his speech during the Ceramah Perdana Perikatan Nasional in Bakri, Muar, on Aug 26, in which he had allegedly questioned the authority of the Pardons Board.

Police are also investigating the case under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for misuse of network facilities.
