Sabah leg of King, Queen's Kembara Kenali Borneo tour ends today


PENAMPANG: The fifth day of the King and Queen's Kembara Kenali Borneo marks the end of the Sabah leg of the tour.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah are scheduled to have breakfast with the people and visit the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) here on Thursday (Sept 7).

Their Majesties are then scheduled to continue their journey to the Sahabat Mosque in Sindumum, Sipitang for a luncheon with the people, before crossing the Sabah-Sarawak border.

The royal couple and their entourage are scheduled to visit the Lawas Waterfront in Lawas, Sarawak before ending the fifth day in Brunei.

The King and Queen are currently on the Kembara Kenali Borneo expedition from Sept 3 to 13, travelling a total of 2,154 km from Tawau, Sabah to Telok Melano, Sarawak across the Pan Borneo Highway that connects Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei. - Bernama
