Syed Saddiq lashes out at DAP over alleged hypocrisy

PETALING JAYA: After being told to have professional conduct, Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (pic) hit back at Nga Kor Ming and DAP over alleged hypocrisy and lack of principles.

Syed Saddiq also took it further by describing DAP as a "lapdog" to Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who was recently granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA).

"Hypocritical. Power-crazy. No principles," said Syed Saddiq on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday (Sept 7).

Syed Saddiq said it was Nga, who’s also DAP vice-chairman, who once accused Ahmad Zahid of being corrupt.

"He (Nga) also called former premier Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob a ‘puppet’ of Ahmad Zahid," said Syed Saddiq.

Syed Saddiq said on Tuesday (Sept 5) that Muda would reevaluate its position in the unity government after the DNAA was granted to Ahmad Zahid.

On Sept 7, Nga said Syed Saddiq should have refrained from expressing discontent publicly, as Muda was part of the unity government.

On Monday (Sept 4), the High Court granted a DNAA to Ahmad Zahid for all 47 graft charges involving Yayasan Akalbudi funds.
