Two killed in fire after car-lorry crash in Rawang


PETALING JAYA: Two people were killed when their car caught fire following a collision with a container lorry at Jalan Kuala Garing in Rawang.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the victims were a 26-year-old man and 23-year-old woman.

The accident occurred at 3.53am on Thursday (Sept 7).

"The victims' car was 70% burnt while the lorry was 50% damaged. Both victims were killed in the fire," he said in a statement.
