KL cops raid massage parlour hiring undocumented workers


KUALA LUMPUR: A massage parlour using undocumented foreign workers has been busted in a raid by police here.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said that the raid was conducted on Sept 9 in Taman Cahaya in Ampang.

"A 22-year-old man was arrested, whom we believe is the premises' caretaker.

"Five Indonesians and one Chinese woman, aged from 40 to 58, were also arrested.

"Police also seized a locker key, a bottle of oil, two towels and RM308 in cash," he said in a statement on Monday (Sept 11), adding that none of those arrested had criminal records and drug tests were also negative.

All suspects have been remanded until Sept 13.
