Kajang cops on the lookout for missing teen girl


KAJANG: A teenage girl is reported missing after boarding a bus to school.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said 15-year-old girl Nur Shafina Maisarah Abdullah was last seen on the morning of Sept 13.

According to her mother, 34, the teenager boarded the school bus at her home in Kampung Pandan and did not return since.

“The mother contacted the school teacher, who confirmed that her daughter had not attended school that day. Witnesses said they saw the girl disembarking from the bus but did not enter the school,” ACP Mohd Zaid added.

He said the mother had also telephoned the girl but no one answered.

“No issues at home have been identified," he said in a statement on Friday (Sept 15).
