Man, 21, dies after motorcycle crashes into ravine in Johor


KULAI: A 21-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a ravine at Jalan Senai–Seelong, here.

Kulai OCPD Supt Tan Seng Lee said the incident occurred on Thursday (Sept 14) at 9.10pm when the victim was on his way to Senai.

“The victim was heading towards the Senai Industrial Area from Ulu Tiram when he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a ravine.

“The victim suffered a serious injury and was later pronounced dead at the location,” he said in a statement here on Saturday (Sept 16).

He added that the victim’s body had been sent to Temenggong Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim Hospital here.

“Those with information on the incident are urged to come forward to help with the investigations,” he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act of 1987.
