Ebit Lew files police report alleging slander against him

PETALING JAYA: Celebrity preacher Ebit Lew has filed a police report in relation to alleged “extreme and unfounded slander” levelled against him recently.

He said the case will also be submitted to his lawyers for legal action.

"I just arrived home from Jeddah at midnight last night and went straight to the police station to make a report about the extreme and totally unfounded slander against me.

"I leave it to the police to investigate and take action. I have also handed it over to the lawyer for further action," he said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday (Sept 18).

Recently, an Indonesian social media influencer had alleged that Lew had behaved inappropriately with her.

Lew had earlier provided the Indonesian influencer with financial assistance in June.
