Lorry driver killed in Kapar accident


KLANG: A lorry driver has been killed in a road accident in Kapar.

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said that they was notified of the accident along Jalan Bukit Kerayaong, Kapar at 12.21pm on Monday (Sept 18).

It is believed that the driver lost control of his vehicle, leading to the road accident.

"A man in his thirties was trapped in the driver's side of the lorry.

"The victim was extricated (from the vehicle) at 1.15pm and a medical officer confirmed he had died," he said.

The body was handed over to the police for further action.
