SUBANG JAYA: Police have confirmed receiving a police report from celebrity preacher Ebit Lew following a video that he said had slandered him.

In a text message to the media, Subang Jaya Deputy OCPD Supt Fairus Jaafar said that the report was lodged at 2.17am on Monday (Sept 18).

"Investigations showed that the video in question has garnered around 225,177 views, with 2,600 likes and 2,800 comments.

"The public are advised not to speculate on the video that has been making the rounds on social media," he said, adding that investigations are ongoing.

Recently, an Indonesian social media influencer had alleged that Lew had behaved inappropriately with her.

Lew had earlier provided the Indonesian influencer with financial assistance in June.
