Firemen free boy whose leg got trapped in toilet bowl


KAJANG: A nine-year-old boy had to endure pain for about an hour after his right leg got stuck in a toilet bowl at his home in Balakong.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a distress call at about 8.36pm on Monday (Sept 18).

"Five personnel were deployed to the scene once the call was received.

"Upon arriving on scene, we discovered that the boy's leg was stuck in the toilet bowl.

"We managed to get his leg out of the toilet bowl at about 9.11pm," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 19).

The victim was handed over to his family once the rescue operation was concluded, he said.
