Cops meet Muhyiddin to take his statement again

KUALA LUMPUR: The police have returned to an office building here to take a statement from Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin again.

Bukit Aman officers were seen entering the premises at around 10am on Thursday (Sept 21).

It is believed they are there to record the Perikatan Nasional chairman's statement regarding remarks during the Simpang Jeram by-election that touched on 3R (religion, race and the royal institution) issues.

On Sept 12, police met Muhyiddin to record his statement on the matter.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said earlier that two police reports had been lodged on the issue.
