Three PPR to be built in Perak at a total cost of RM308mil

IPOH: Three people's housing project (PPR) locations have been identified in Perak, says Nga Kor Ming.

The Local Government Development Minister said they are Manjoi, in the Tambun parliamentary constituency; Changkat Jong (Teluk Intan); and Kota Tampan (Lenggong).

He said all three projects would involve allocations of about RM308mil and have 1,200 units in total.

"The PPR in Tambun involves 500 units in a multi-storey building.

"The PPR project in Lenggong involves 300 terrace houses. In Teluk Intan, 400 terrace houses will be developed under Perbadanan Pr1ma Malaysia," he told a press conference at the state secretariat building here on Monday (Sept 25).

"All three projects also include basic facilities like surau, hall, stalls, daycare and landscaping," he added.

Nga said the projects would be implemented as soon as approvals are obtained.

"We are pushing for these to start as soon as possible.

"Multi-storey buildings usually take about 36 months to be completed while landed properties take about 24 months," he added.
