IN the pursuit of education, choosing the right institution is akin to laying a solid foundation for a promising future.
A capable institution with clear pathways provides more than just classrooms and textbooks, as it offers a framework for support that accompanies you at every turn of your educational journey.
Joining such an institution not only nurtures academic growth but also underpins personal development, preparing you for the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.
This is what Sunway International School (SIS) offers to the future generations as it invites both potential students and parents to explore the opportunities that await during the SIS Open Day (Oct 14 and 15) at Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
Held from 10am to 3pm across the two days, the SIS Open Day promises an exciting array of activities for all, ranging from personalised counselling sessions with Sunway experts to immersive classes, vibrant dance workshops, captivating games and a fascinating campus tour.
Throughout the event, an assortment of informative talks and engaging sessions will be available for students and parents eager to delve deeper into SIS and explore its diverse academic programmes.
There will also be a myriad of captivating workshops covering media literacy, mathematics, physics, chemistry and writing for students and parents.
In addition, SIS has an exciting array of extracurricular activities in store, such as challenging Rubik’s Cube-solving games, energising K-pop dance classes and fun sports sessions.
SIS offers three globally recognised curricula, which are the Ontario (Canadian) curriculum, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and Cambridge (IGCSE) International Programme to its ever-increasing cohort of bright young students.
Nestled in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, the award-winning and eco-friendly campus welcomes up to 3,000 students, spanning from kindergarten to pre-university.
Within its walls, there are 74 modern classrooms, dedicated spaces for arts and music, and state-of-the-art labs for language, science and technology.
Additional facilities encompass an Olympic-size swimming pool, a football field and a multipurpose hall designed for a multitude of activities.
SIS was founded in 2008 with the mission to be the international education of choice, offering holistic education for the development of creative, intellectually critical and socially responsible individuals.
There will also be another SIS Open Day held at the SIS Johor campus on Oct 21 (10am-3pm).
