Nine-vehicle pile-up near Shah Alam leaves one injured


SHAH ALAM: A nine-vehicle collision along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) on Tuesday (Oct 3) resulted in one injury.

In a statement on Tuesday, Shah Alam Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that the accident occurred along KM5.4 of the expressway.

"Early investigations showed that a car on the right lane collided with the back of another vehicle, leading that car to hit several vehicles in front of it.

"A total of nine vehicles were involved," he said, adding that one victim sustained light injuries.

Those with information on the accident were urged to contact traffic investigations officer Insp Muhammad Hasrul Suhaimi at 011-3121 5697.
