TAIWANESE singer Selina Jen, who gave birth about a month ago, has finally shared a photo of her infant son, China Press reported.
Even so, she used a sticker to cover his face to protect his identity.
“(For Mid-Autumn Festival) this year, we do not only want to gaze at the moon but also the stars. Yao Guo is the cutest starfish!” she wrote.
The boy’s nickname is Yao Guo. The Mid-Autumn Festival, which fell on Sept 29, is also known as the Mooncake or Lantern Festival,
Jen, 41, uploaded the photo of her infant on social media in conjunction with the celebration.
It was earlier reported that she made an unexpected announcement in March that she was pregnant.
Jen, who gave birth on Sept 7, rose to prominence in 2001 with the all-girl band S.H.E, which also comprised Ella Chen and Hebe Tien.
> The staging of a play about Ultraman in China’s Zhejiang province was disrupted when a man jumped on stage and attacked the actors who were dressed in the costume of the superhero, Sin Chew Daily reported.
He could be heard loudly questioning why there were “Japanese things” in the theatre.
Prior to that, the man was seen running towards the stage and pushed aside several performers.
He was eventually subdued by security personnel and taken away by policemen.
An employee at the theatre said later that the attacker was likely to have been motivated by “misguided patriotism”.
Internet users criticised the man, saying that being patriotic did not mean that one should attack innocent performers.
“Please do not insult the concept of ‘patriotism’ (with your actions),” one netizen wrote.
There has been animosity in China towards Japan following its move, starting in August, to discharge wastewater that accumulated from the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant into the Pacific Ocean.
