Man, 20, dies in car-lorry crash


PETALING JAYA: A 20-year-old man was killed after a three-tonne lorry collided with his car in Bandar Sungai Emas on Monday (Oct 9).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a distress call at 11.55am.

"The victim was trapped in his car and suffered grievous injuries.

"Firefighters successfully extricated the body and medical officers confirmed the man's death.

"The body has been handed over to the police for further action," he said when contacted.
