I'm very much alive, says Madius Tangau

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Seri Madius Tangau is alive and well despite speculation swirling on social media that he had died.

"I am still here talking and very much alive. I just want to clear the air about these rumours.

"May God give me more years to live. I am only 65 and still healthy," the Tuaran MP said at an event in Manggatal near here on Saturday (Oct 14).

"I hope the person who started spreading this fake news repents," said Tangau, adding that he received many phone calls and messages from family and friends when the rumours started.

Tangau also said it was unnecessary to get the police involved and just wanted the incident to die down.
