Two bikers killed in head-on collision in PD


PORT DICKSON: Two motorcyclists have been killed in a head-on collision at KM8 Jalan Pantai near here.

Port Dickson police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed said the deceased were a 21-year-old restaurant worker and a 54-year-old painter.

"Based on the preliminary probe, the restaurant worker was heading towards Port Dickson from Teluk Kemang at 3.20pm (on Oct 15) when he suddenly lost control of his bike and collided into the other victim.

"Both died on the spot due to the impact," he said in a statement on Sunday (Oct 15).

Supt Aidi Sham said the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

He urged witnesses to contact the district police station at 06-647 2222.
