Johor cops solve six cases of house break-ins, bike theft with arrest of jobless man at Felda estate


KOTA TINGGI: Police have arrested an unemployed local man at Felda Sening here for allegedly being involved in house break-ins and motorcycle theft.

Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Hussin Zamora said police carried out an operation at a palm oil plantation, which led to the 43-year-old suspect’s arrest, at around noon on Tuesday (Oct 17).

He added police also seized three tablets, two motorcycles and several motorcycle parts that have been taken apart.

“Checks on the seized items found that it was reported missing from a house break-in case and five motorcycle theft cases in the district.

“The suspect, who tested positive for drugs, has seven previous crimes and one drug related offence on his record,” he said here on Wednesday (Oct 18).

Supt Hussin added that the suspect was under remand for six days until Oct 23 to assist with the investigations.

“Based on the arrest and seizure, police have successfully solved six cases of house break-ins and motorcycle theft which happened this year,” he said.
