KUALA TERENGGANU: A 16-month-old baby girl died after allegedly being left inside a car at a public university in the Kuala Nerus district on Tuesday (Oct 24).

Terengganu OCPD Asst Comm Abd Rahim Md Din said that police received a report about the toddler who had died when brought to the student health centre at the university at about 4.30pm on Oct 24.

“A post-mortem was conducted at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah hospital, last night. We are awaiting the report to find out the cause of death,” he said when contacted here on Wednesday (Oct 25).
