Comms Minister offers condolences to family of singer Bad Indigo

KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil offered his condolences to the family of singer Badrul Izhan Yeop Abdullah, also known as Bad Indigo (pic), who died at his workplace in Ampang, Selangor, at 7pm Thursday (Oct 26).

According to local media reports, the 48-year-old died of a heart attack at 7pm Thursday.

Fahmi in his Facebook post also prayed that the family would remain strong during these testing times.

"My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Bad Indigo's family. Al-Fatihah,” he said.

The band Indigo, which was was formed in 1996, gained popularity by performing Malay pop songs.

The group also included Mohamed Shahrin Mohamed Samsudin, Shahrul Nizam Abdul Aziz and Nor Shazman Nor Shahid. - Bernama
