Large crowd hold pro-Palestinian rally outside US embassy

KUALA LUMPUR: A large crowd made their way to a pro-Palestine rally at the gates of the US embassy, stopping traffic around KLCC on Saturday (Oct 28) afternoon.

The rally organised by PAS saw its members and supporters walking the streets chanting "Takbir", pro-Palestinian and anti-Zionist Israeli chants.

The protesters were led by PAS and Perikatan Nasional leaders as well as NGO activists.

Men and women from all walks of life wore pro-Palestinian paraphernalia which were being sold along the route.

Police and FRU personnel kept watch and controlled the crowd, which also included children.

PAS organised the rally in support of the latest Gaza conflict, which the Malaysian Government has spoken out strongly against.
