Its vice-president I Datuk Dr Mohd Ariffin Mohd Arif said the party is collaborating closely with its fellow Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) component Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) in Labuan, aiming to secure widespread acceptance among the island's population.

He emphasised the party's commitment to working with PBS to achieve this goal.

"We want Labuan Gagasan Rakyat to be accepted by the multiracial people on this island with the cooperation of PBS here,” he told reporters after officiating the Labuan division's inaugural annual general meeting at a hotel here on Tuesday (Oct 31).

He was optimistic that the party, which has strong local roots, can win the hearts of the people in Labuan.
