Over 100 people evacuated due to flash floods at Kampung Bangi Lama


PETALING JAYA: Over a hundred people have been evacuated due to flash floods in Kampung Bangi Lama, says Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar

When contacted, he said that 79 people had been evacuated by the department as of 8.47am, with around 100 more leaving on their own.

"The Kampung Bangi MPKK Balairaya and Tadika Perpaduan Taman Bangi Ria have been set as temporary evacuation centres. Water levels are currently stagnant," he said.
