IPOH: PKR Youth wants to set up a special taskforce to counter 3R (race, religion and royalty) issues, says Adam Adli Abdul Halim.
The PKR Youth chief said the task force would monitor for such sensitive issues on social media or other platforms.
"We are not the police or the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), who can take action.
"The task force's purpose is to counter such issues. If allegations and accusations are made, it can counter the narrative and explain the truth or stand," he told reporters after closing the central zone PKR Youth Convention at a hotel here on Sunday (Nov 5).
On another matter, Adam, who is also Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, said besides Sarawak, Perlis has also shown interest in the use of Zeon Zoysia grass in its football stadium.
The ministry has offered allocations through matching grants to all state youth and sports executive committees to upgrade football pitches with Zeon Zoysia grass.
Sarawak has become the first state to agree to use the new type of grass in one of its stadiums.
