Molest of underage girls: Self-defence instructor's remand extended


SHAH ALAM: The remand period of a self-defence instructor who allegedly molested four girls has been extended to Thursday (Nov 9).

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed the matter when contacted.

The 20-year-old suspect, a private college student, was arrested on Thursday (Nov 2) following a child molestation report lodged against him.

A total of four alleged victims aged seven to nine have been identified, with the incidents reportedly occurring between September and October.

ACP Mohd Iqbal said the case has been classified under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
