KUALA LUMPUR: A decision on whether or not to boycott the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Economic Leaders’ Week in San Francisco will be known in the next day or two, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said he is coordinating with several countries on the matter although they have stated their intention to attend Apec.

"So far most are attending.

“So we will check in one or two days,” he told reporters after launching the Malaysia Digital Expo 2023 Grand Finale here on Monday (Nov 6), when asked about the country's decision on attending the event.

Anwar had previously said Malaysia would decide whether or not to attend Apec based on the decision of its regional partners.

The meeting is scheduled to be held in San Francisco from Nov 11 to 17.
