KUALA NERUS: Identical twins Anis Hafida Zulkhar and her sister Anis Hafiza, 23, were excited to be able to share the stage during convocation after graduating in the same field at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).

Anis Hafida and Anis Hafiza, who are from Meru, Perak, received their scrolls after completing their Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies to fulfil their late father’s wish.

Anis Hafida, who is the third of five siblings, said she and Anis Hafiza have never been apart since they were born, including studying at the same primary and secondary schools and institution of higher learning.

The twins also share the same ambition - to be educators one day as is their parents’ wish.

"Since young, we have always been together. Studied at the same school, took the same diploma (course) and continued until the degree level.

"Can’t imagine us being far apart for either work or study because she (Anis Hafiza) is also my best friend,” Anis Hafida said when met at the 15th UniSZA Idul Ilmi Convocation ceremony here Tuesday (Nov 7).

Meanwhile, Anis Hafida said they are both working as marketing assistants at a supermarket in Meru before applying to enrol for the Post-Graduate Teaching Programme (KPLI).
