Storm causes severe damage to roofs of 36 houses in Klebang Jaya

IPOH: Roofs of 36 houses in Klebang Jaya near here were damaged and destroyed following a storm

In a statement issued by the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) district control centre, the incident happened around 4.30pm on Wednesday (Nov 8).

The spokesperson said the incident occurred following heavy rain and strong winds that lasted nearly two hours.

“We received a report at about 4.26pm on the disaster before deploying a team to the site to evaluate the risk factors and to monitor the situation,” he said.
