SJK (T) Port Dickson has emerged as champion of a state-level karate championship, Makkal Osai reported.
The tournament was organised by the Persatuan Karate Hayashi-Ha Negri Sembilan led by Master Saravanan at the Seremban City council hall.
Palong assemblyman and state executive councillor for youth and sports Mustapha Nagoor, who launched the tournament, urged parents to encourage their children to take up the sport which promotes discipline and an active lifestyle.
A joint team comprising pupils of SJK (T) Ladang Bahau, SJK(T) Ladang St Helier and SJK (T) Ladang Senama was second with SJK (T) Ladang Sengkang third.
