Not his cuppa: Dr Noor Hisham says herbal drink company misusing his image

PETALING JAYA: An upset Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) plans to take a Chinese herbal drink company to court, claiming that the company is misusing his image to market its products.

The former health director-general took to X to state his disapproval.

"This is an irresponsible marketing by a company intended to cheat the public. What a shameful act!" he said.

Dr Noor Hisham asked users if he should to sue the company.

"How much do you think I should sue them? May this be a lesson to other companies. If I win, I can share the win with NGOs," he said.

Dr Noor Hisham's image had previously been used to endorse diabetes drugs and bogus miracle cures.

He had since denied any involvement with the companies.
