Man dies after falling off motorcycle in Tangkak


TANGKAK: A 21-year-old man was killed after falling from his motorcycle at Jalan Dalam in Kampung Termil Sagil here.

Tangkak OCPD Supt Roslan Talib said the incident occurred at 1.09am on Monday (Nov 20) when the victim was heading towards Kampung Termil Sagil from Sagil.

“The victim is believed to have lost control of his vehicle after (turning a corner) before falling. The victim was not wearing a helmet and suffered a head injury," he said in a statement.

Supt Roslan added that the victim was then brought to the hospital by passers-by.

“However, he was pronounced dead at 3.26am by the medical team while being treated at Hospital Muar,” he added.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act of 1987.
