KAJANG: The identity of "Mr H", said to be a high-ranking individual behind a video implicating former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff, has been revealed to the police.

Mohammad Agus said he revealed this when questioned by police at the Kajang police headquarters here.

"I revealed who Mr H is and answered what they needed for further investigation," he said.

Mohammad Agus added that he also lodged a report against Raja Petra Kamarudin for allegedly uploading a copy of his police report on the matter on social media and revealing his personal information.

"It is baffling how he (Raja Petra) can get the full report and I have asked the police to conduct an internal investigation," he said on Monday (Nov 20).

"I do not want to comment on the matter, I leave the investigation to the police," he said.

Meanwhile, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that Mohammad Agus had provided his statement, while Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the case was being investigated by the Bukit Aman classified crimes investigation unit.

Mohammad Agus' lawyer, Faizal Abd Rahman, said that J-Kom assistant officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, who has yet to provide his statement, told him that he would cooperate if called up by the police.

Mohammad Agus had previously claimed that the viral video had been doctored and that he had also lodged a police report on the matter. – Bernama
