International school in KL evacuated after bomb threat received


KUALA LUMPUR: An international school along Jalan Stonor here was evacuated after receiving an email with a bomb threat at around 9.50am on Tuesday (Nov 21).

The bomb disposal unit, K-9 unit, Special Branch as well as other police elements then conducted a sweep of the school.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid confirmed this and said a total of three schools received bomb threats.

"Two of the schools involved were in Wangsa Maju while the remaining one is along Jalan Stonor under the Dang Wangi police jurisdiction," he said.
