PAS MP wants Stars On Fire concert featuring Hrithik Roshan cancelled

KUALA LUMPUR: After targeting Coldplay, A PAS MP now wants authorities to cancel an upcoming concert starring Bollywood stars, including Hrithik Roshan.

Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman (PN-Kuala Krai) said that such concerts were not suitable and insensitive towards the sensitivities of the majority of the people in the country when many are suffering in Palestine.

"Actually, the government must first take the initial step to shut all doors to stop vices.

"I humbly ask the government to cancel both concerts," he said while debating Budget 2024 at the committee stage for the Communications and Digital Ministry on Wednesday (Nov 22).

The concert will feature Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, who will return to the country eight years after his last visit.

The Stars On Fire Kuala Lumpur Live in Concert will be held on Dec 1 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
