THE “knock, knock” has continued. And there’s still no one there.
This midnight knocking, which spooked some residents in Batu Pahat and Kota Tinggi, has now “spread” to Kluang, China Press reported.
Someone in Kluang uploaded a brief clip from his CCTV footage onto a Facebook page called “Aku Budak Kluang” which showed the compound outside his house in Taman Sri Lambak.
Several knocks, which sounded like metal being banged against a wooden door, could be heard in the footage which was captured on Monday.
However, no one could be seen.
A representative from the Kluang police station said they had not received any reports about this.
Prior to this, there had been reports that some residents at the Parit Haji Siraj village, which is also in Johor, claimed that they would hear someone knocking on their door at night.
The hair-raising knocks were said to have started early this month.
Some locals were reportedly afraid to even step out of their house due to these unexplained occurences.
> A woman in China’s Yunnan province was furious not only because an online lingerie seller had sent her a bra of the wrong size, but he had the audacity to harass her, China Press reported.
She posted a screenshot of her conversations with the seller after she complained to him about getting the wrong order.
The seller did not believe her and asked her to film herself wearing the bra as proof.
“Are you still in school? Pull your bra down and take a picture. Why not film a video as well? Push your bra down and let me see,” the seller wrote.
Furious, the woman complained to the online shopping platform and urged them to take action against the seller.
She also explained that she did not want to make a big deal out of this and hence did not report the matter to the police.
“What I want is only an apology,” she said.
